Most Recommended Sleep Products of 2020

recommended sleep products

Oh what a year! Each November I share the sleep related products my clients are loving and products I often recommend. Below are ten items that my clients are currently raving about.

These items might be good for you to add to your wish list or to gift to a friend or family member! To see all of the products I love (including for moms!), you can visit my amazon store by clicking here

1. Hatch Baby Rest Nightlight

While I don’t recommend using a nightlight in your infant’s room all night, this little guy is the perfect nightlight for middle of the night feedings and diaper changes. AND, it can transition into a “toddler clock.” I recommend every 2-6 year old have a sleep clock and I’ve been obsessed with this one for the last couple of years. If you’re using this light as a sleep clock, I recommend using red/pink for sleep and green for the wake color.

2. Woolino Sleep Sack

I’m a HUGE fan of using sleep sacks for as long as possible. Not only are sleep sacks safe wearable blankets, maybe most importantly, they can help keep your toddler/preschooler in the crib longer! The Woolino is definitely an investment, but the moms I know who have one swear by it. They are extra long so it can fit your kiddo for a long time and they hold up well.

3. Kyte Baby Sleep Sack

This is another long sleep sack that is half the price of the Woolino. They are made of bamboo which is so soft! It also comes in different togs (layers of warmth), which a lot of moms like.

4. Love to Dream Swaddle

Some babies really don’t like to have their arms swaddled down by their sides, but, if unswaddled, they wake frequently because of their startle reflex. This swaddle allows them to have their hands up near their head, but controls the startle movements. A second version has zip-off “wings” so it can transition into a sleep sack.

5. Dreamland Sleep Sack

If you’ve tried all the things to lengthen your baby’s naps with no luck, this weighted sleep sack is definitely worth a try. I’ve recently had a few families I work with have magical results, particularly with naps stabilizing. The currently have a Black Friday 25% off sale!

6. Haakaa Breast Pump

Want your husband to feed a pumped bottle during the night, but don’t want to hook up to the pump in the middle of the night? While you’re doing a night nursing session, hook the Haakaa up to the opposite breast and, voila, you have milk for your husband’s next bottle feed! This little guy was a recommendation from one of my friends after she had her second baby. I have since had many moms rave about it!

7. SlumberPod

When you travel and stay in a hotel or need to room-share with your little one, it can be tricky. I have many clients who swear by the SlumberPod when it comes to travel. My discount code SLEEPANDWELLNESS20 typically saves you $20, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday it will save you $30!

8. Yogasleep Hushh Travel White Noise

Last year we traveled a ton with the girls and always took our portable white noise machine. It’s also great if they need to nap in the car during a road trip or if they are napping at family’s house. I also personally use it at hotels when I travel to NYC to block street noises and it’s amazing. It’s really small and easy to throw in your suitcase or purse. They are currently having a 20% off Black Friday sale, BUT I was just told that the Hushh will be on a flash 30% off sale on Friday.

9. Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls 2

Earlier this fall I purchased the first Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls. My husband and I really enjoyed reading it with our girls (6 and 7 years old). It prompted really interesting questions and conversations. We’ve even reached out to one of the inventors! We loved it so much that when my girls stumbled up Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls 2 in one of our local gift shops, they had to have it. We like it even more than the first!

10. Slumber Sloth

I recommend introducing a lovey at 12 months. Not all kids will take to it right away, but as they get older and eventually transition to a bed, it’s great for them to have a comfort item. This little guy is super soft!

Happy shopping and cheers to awesome sleep!
