Episode 65

drowsy but awake

Drowsy but awake is a key piece to the puzzle when you are trying to teach your new baby to sleep for longer stretches at night or working on lengthening naps. But this is easier said than done, right? What does “drowsy but awake” even mean? Many parents tell Allison that they don’t really understand how to teach their baby to be content with being put down awake so they can fall asleep independently.

In today’s episode, Allison is sharing why this is an important skill to teach your baby, at what age you should start working on this, and how exactly to put this idea into practice.
